ABOUT EMILIA SAUAIA

 

 

Being passionate for the lights of the world is definitely what marked Emilia’s first steps in the immersion of photography. Always traveling around with her family she was introduced to her first camera and early started taking pictures of landscapes and people.

Worked with different formats of visual communication starting her carrier as a TV content producer, designer and later on as a director. 

Seeking to deepen her passion for photography, traveled to New York in 2011. There she studied filmmaking and then specialized in Cinematography having received awards in festivals around the world.

The main characteristics of Emilia's work in movies and still photography, are the strong visual personality. Understanding character, environment, knowing how to transmit feelings through lighting and composition.
